Let’s face it, we all need a little light distraction from life from time-to-time. And there is no better way to do this than looking at cute animals on the internet. No, we aren’t talking about watching crazy cat videos on YouTube. Instead, check out some of our favorite animal-centric Instagram’s:
Smooshy-faced labrador puppies learning how to swim or climb stairs? Cue the “OMG they are so cute!”
Esther was misrepresented as a “micro pig” when sold to Steve Jenkins and Derek Walter in the Summer of 2012. She was just 4 pounds at the time, and they were told she would grow no larger than 70 pounds. Over 600 pounds later and still growing, Derek and Steve moved out of the city and onto a farm in order to make a better life for Esther.
Esther has her own bed and loves to snuggle, even with the family dogs and cat. She loves to eat (naturally) and play tag or tug of war. Beware, as Esther will not only make you smile on a regular basis, but also just might make you want to move to a farm and own a full-size pet pig yourself.
Pumpkin, a rescued raccoon, and her canine sidekicks, Toffee and Oreo, get up to all sorts of funny antics. When Pumpkin was just 1-month old, she fell out of a tree. The little raccoon was very weak and had a broken hind leg and the mother abandoned it.
The nearby Bahamas Humane Society was unable to take in an orphaned raccoon, so Rosie Kemp and her daughter, Laura Young, took in the little raccoon themselves. With the guidance of friends who had experience with raccoons, the family cared for her and named her Pumpkin.
Pumpkin now lives with Laura and her husband, William, and believes she is just one of the canine pack. Pumpkin has even learned how to use the family toilet.
Reagan, an Australian Labradoodle from Oregon, is probably one of the most anthropomorphized dogs on the Internet. He absolutely loves to get dressed up and pose for the camera. Reagan’s best friend is Little Buddy—the adopted human child in the family. They met when they were both 11-months old and have been best friends ever since.
Theo is a rescue dog that blessed this Southern California family. We were first introduced to him as a puppy, sharing nap time with the son Beau. But now we can’t get enough of how closely he snuggles with their toddler daughter Evvie. This account adds a major dose of cuteness to your day.
